Yokohoma Maru is the largest diveable war time wreck in P.N.G. waters lying at Salamaua, 20 miles from Lae, a popular dive for Lae's weekend divers.

Sitting upright in 70 metres she is in remarkable condition and a superb dive. She rests in a sheltered bay so can be dived year round, average water conditions are 80 - 100 feet. Very little, other than a handful of divers have dived this wreck due to its depth but in recent years it is becoming more popular with teck divers, an excellent wreck and certainly not to be missed by the deep experienced diver.
